A stunning residential development of 3 and 4 bedroom CABÜ Barnhouses nestled in the hamlet of Birds Green, Ongar in Essex. These two storey timber buildings ranging from 1362 ft2 to 2140 ft2 of internal floor area are a collection of beautifully designed homes offering superior architectural aesthetic balanced with warm timber tones throughout from external cladding to internal linings. Expressed engineered glulam portals frame the internal large open spaces and aluminium double-glazed windows and doors puncture holes around the shell providing natural light throughout. Adopting energy efficient construction methods with engineered insulated panels combined with a light weight, fast-build, off-site manufactured solution make this range of pre-designed buildings an excellent example of efficient construction from concept to creation.
