Project description:
A statement entrance structure comprising of a diagrid of glulam beams supported by a diagrid of glulam portal frames around the perimeter. Slender frames and beams underline the elegance of the light-weight structure along with the fully concealed jointing system and combine to demonstrate the high aesthetic ambition that was achieved. Double glazed wall panels sit into pre-formed channels in the timber structure avoiding clumsy framing and demonstrating further the attention to detail that was the drive for this building.
